My very good friend Lena saw this gif I had created two years ago and asked me if I could turn it into a more personalised poster. As you can see the main inspiration was the fictional superhero Wonder Woman and 70s graphic design & aesthetic. The quote on the bottom comes from HBO TV series Vinyl.
These whimsical illustrations I created for the August issue of Mindful magazine. The subject “envy” was a challenge but I fell in love with the idea of using plants, leaves and flowers as a reference to “The grass is always greener on the other side” idiom. Spencer Crewman was an awesome art director and I it was a pleasure working with him on this special project. Thank you Spencer!
Last year I had the pleasure to work on illustrations for this cover. I teamed up with Chris Ferrante from Princeton University Press who designed & art directed this project. How happy and proud I was seeing the fresh printed book in my post this morning! The End of American Childhood by Paula S.Fass is available on Amazon.
You can find my illustrations in the new May issue of People StyleWatch magazine. Cheers!
